I haven't heard a release date for order based sales yet.  I have Google news alerts that forward any stories mentioning a camaro.  It has kept me in the loop as we wait for dates and times to line up.  I think the next step will likely be the debut of the production version.  My guess is that will happen at the 2008 auto shows starting in January.  It is expected the production models will be in dealerships in the first quarter of 2009.  I would think pre-orders would be possible in the last quarter of 2008.  Sorry Man...I'm bummed too.

I definately want one of these.  I would love to get a photograph of the car on the assembly line being built.  Can anyone think of a way to do that?  If not does anyone have a contact at G.M. who could field the suggestion?
